AUDITIONS
Auditions for the 2018-2019 St. Olaf Dance Team will be held on Saturday, September 8th, 2018 from 9am-2pm in CAD Studio 2. We will be assessing skills and learning a short combination. Two informational sessions will be held Thursday, September 6th from 7-8pm and Friday, September 7th from 4:45-5:45pm.
Skills for auditions

Battements, tilts, leg holds, leg hold turns

Leaps, side leaps, calypsos, switch leaps

Turning disks, tilt jumps

6 step double/triple pirouettes, coupe turns, pencil turns

A la secondes, toe touches, turned out pirouettes, fire birds

What to wear:
-Black leggings or dance shorts
-Tight black tank top or leotard
-Hair in tight bun or ponytail
-Turners or jazz shoes (or any dance shoes you have)
